2014 will be an interesting year for alternative rock bands as most of them will be releasing albums this year. You should definitely check out these albums that will be released over the next few weeks to start off 2014 with a bang!
Issues - Issues
This metalcore band's self-titled debut album is worth checking out, after getting some attention from their first EP release Black Diamonds (2012) and covering Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" as part of the Punk Goes Pop 5. Teasing us with their latest song "Stingray Affliction" for their upcoming album, their style of hip-hop and post-hardcore music makes this band worth checking out.

Blitz Kids - The Good Youth
Blitz Kids have done well in 2013, supporting bands We The Kings, Lower Than Atlantis, Tonight Alive and Mallory Knox, and played in Download Festival, their second album The Good Youth already released four singles, "Run For Cover", "Roll The Dice", "On My Own" and "Sometimes" and they have created a lot of hype for this album. Filled with anthemic choruses and catchy hooks, these radio-friendly singles shows how awesome their upcoming album will be.

Crosses - Crosses
Chino Moreno's other side project Crosses have released two EPs over the past few years and this anticipated album already have the existing songs but re-recorded and also includes five new songs. Their music infuses Nine Inch Nail's style of industrial rock, hip-hop influences and metal atmosphere, and Moreno's vocals and screams are finer than ever.

Canterbury - Dark Days
Alternative rockers Canterbury's third upcoming album have shown so much hype, releasing teaser trailers of their behind the scenes album production, and using Pledge Music to connect with their fans and produce their album. After releasing their EP Satellite to their fans, and releasing the album's single "Think It Over", this will be guaranteed a brilliant album.

You Me At Six - Cavalier Youth
The album's first single "Lived A Lie" have already done well in the charts, debuting at Number 11 in the UK Single Charts, becoming their highest charting single ever. Other tracks "Hope For The Best" and "Fresh Start Fever" already had critical acclaim, and this album will kick off 2014 to a brilliant start at the rock scene.
