3 Albums to Check Out This Week

September is almost over and is overflowing with new great albums, so I thought I'd recommend you to check out these certain ones that are out this week...

CHVRCHES - Every Open Eye

This second effort from the electro-pop trio is an effervescent achievement as it packs a lot of punch, most tracks bursting with bright synths and addictive dance beats that familiarises some 80s pop music. It's certainly an improvement from their debut album and it's a must-listen for any fans of electronic music or pop music in general.

The Dead Weather - Dodge And Burn

This brilliant third album from the supergroup consist some of the most riff-tastically cool scuzz-rock tracks that are well produced, which is visible from Jack White's past discography. Most tracks are driven with attitude and style, it's utterly relentless. If you like some psychedelic rock music, then definitely check this album out.

Silversun Pickups - Better Nature

These alt-rockers have proven themselves as consistent throughout their career with an impressive discography. Without losing their touch, they cover some new ground here that is slightly different to their past albums. Nonetheless, the band's perfect harmonies, intimate distorted guitars and soothing vocals complementing its mix of slow and upbeat moments within the tracks are just so mesmerising.
