Reading and Leeds Festival 2014! Lineup so far...

So the third (and fourth I guess) main headliners were announced on Monday and I'm satisfied, impressed even, about the whole lineup so far. Some are quite interesting (Macklemore and Ryan Lewis? hmm.) and some I'm excited about. Here's my top 15 acts I'm excited to see this year...

15. Disclosure

Saw these guys last year, and they were one of the highlights that year. They were so good, I wanna see them again. Hopefully they'll bring more special guests, and would like to see Eliza Doolittle perform "You & Me". Nonetheless, I don't mind dancing along and have a good time seeing them live for a second time.

14. Clean Bandit

They were at Reading last year, and regretted not seeing these guys. But now getting a lot of recognition after their success hit single, "Rather Be", I can't wait to see them for the first time and experience their vibrant ambiance of dance and classical music.

13. Lower Than Atlantis

One of my personal favourites, and quite pleased they're playing at Reading twice in a row. I've seen these guys so many times, it'd be awesome to see these guys again, hopefully playing some new stuff since they've been busy recording for their next album. Obviously, playing their fan hits, "Another Sad Song" and "Deadliest Catch" will be a treat.

12. Bombay Bicycle Club

Their latest album has definitely grown on me, "Luna" and "Carry Me" being my favourites, and it'll be amazing to hear it live. Also, I can't wait to hear the hits, "Shuffle" and "Always Like This" and "Evening/Morning".

11. A Day To Remember

This post-hardcore band has been one of my personal favourites for a while, and I still haven't seen them live! I'm sure it will be extremely mental and can't wait to see them perform my favourites; "If It Means A Lot To You" and "Best Of Me" but it'd still be awesome to see these guys for the first time.

10. Issues

No surprise here, these guys have surprised me over the past few months, and since the release of their self-titled debut album, I've been listening to it non-stop and I can't wait to listen to it live. Hoping they'll be playing in a small tent for a better, more intimate experience, but if they play on the main stage, at least they'll be playing for a huge crowd. Nonetheless, this metalcore band is worth checking out live.

9. Enter Shikari

These guys are filled with relentless energy (I'm not talking about the drink!) and they're amazing live. It's been awhile since they played at Reading and it'll be awesome to hear their new stuff after hearing some of their latest singles like "The Paddington Frisk" and "Radiate". Also can't wait to hear the classics, "Sorry, You're Not A Winner" and "Juggernauts". Prepare to open up the pit!

8. The Neighbourhood

It's rare to see these guys live. They only played here in the UK, supporting The 1975, and I'm happy I get to see them live! Everyone in the crowd will be singing along to "Sweater Weather" and hearing their debut album live will be hauntingly beautiful.

7. NERO

The only time they'll be playing live this year. Being treated as special guests, this is going to be brilliant. Can't wait to hear "Me and You" and "Promises" (or just play every song in Welcome Reality) live, this is one act you can't miss this year.

6. CHVRCHES

Don't even remember these guys playing at Reading last year and was glad they're playing again this year. Hearing their blasting synths will be amazing live, hopefully will be experiencing some ridiculous light strobes! Their debut album is a must-hear and can't wait to see these guys for the first time.

5. Warpaint

These guys (or gals even) are festival gods, playing everywhere around the world, and I can see why. After their success debut album, The Fool, this band is the perfect music to listen to when you're chilled, high, in a car, pretty much in any mood. Really can't wait to see these guys for the first time! Been listening to their latest self-titled album, and "Love Is To Die" is a brilliant song and hearing it live will be spectacular.

4. The 1975

Saw these guys last year at the Republic Stage, and it was hugely packed. Now that they're very well known, the ambiance compared to last year will be even better, everyone will be singing along to every song in their self-titled debut album, instead of just singing that one song everyone knows (that was "Chocolate"), it will be chilled and crazy at the same time.

3. Blink-182

It's been 4 years since they played in Reading, and they haven't released much music since, and now that they're working on new stuff, I can't wait to hear them. Of course, being as punk gods, we can't certainly wait to hear the good old classics, everyone will bonkers to "All The Small Things" and "What's My Age Again?".

2. Arctic Monkeys

We kinda saw it coming that they'd be headlining this year, but still excited either way. Hearing the new album, AM, live will be awesome, hopefully kicking it off with "Do I Wanna Know?" and play classics that everyone will go mental for; "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor", "R U Mine?", "When The Sun Goes Down" and "Teddy Picker". This will be a blast to remember.

1. Queens of The Stone Age / Paramore

This was a tie because let's face it, when I heard the announcement a few days ago that they're both playing on the same day, I went nuts. Been a huge fan of Paramore since 2007, and it sucked that I missed them at Reading 2 years ago, then to pile it off, Queens of the Stone Age, are also playing, one of the most legendary bands out there. I'm not even sure how this is going to work. Are they gonna take turns or what? But I must say, the main headliners this year are better than last year, AND I'M HUGELY BUZZING!

Also, here are some bands I'd also like to see this year:
Young Guns
MMX
London Grammar
Canterbury
Blitz Kids
HAIM
MS MR
The Story So Far
The Wonder Years

Here's the lineup so far...
